Petawatt Laser and ICF
A petawatt laser is a high-intensity laser which generates peak powers of quadrillion (10^15) watts, or petawatts. They use the CPA technique to perform at these high energies and proofed to be extremely useful in lots of scientific research, enabling one of the biggest scientific breakthroughs in recent years: Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF). Scientists hope this field of research could contribute enormously to future clean energy.
